Jacob Oliver is Director of Origination at Black Diamond, where he leads the firm's content and outreach strategy. He focuses on building relationships with business owners, investors, and strategic partners.

Before joining Black Diamond, Jacob worked as a technology and finance journalist, covering the intersections of cryptocurrency, U.S. policy, and global markets. He served as an editor at Crypto Briefing, CryptoSlate, and Unchained, where he led editorial initiatives and shaped public narratives around emerging technologies.

He also worked independently as a communications and public positioning consultant, helping early-stage companies refine their messaging, media strategy, and thought leadership.

Jacob holds a Ph.D. from the University of Washington.
